“BEING ABLE TO LEARN ON THE FLY”- SPURS LOOK TO IMPROVE OFF FIRST PRESEASON GAME

The San Antonio Spurs dropped their preseason opener to the Oklahoma City Thunder Saturday, 121-108. Despite the loss, the players were excited to get back on the court and said “it felt good” finally playing another opponent again. Spurs veteran point guard Patty Mills noted that the team will have to “learn to play on the fly,” which is part of the team’s growing process. The Spurs will continue their preseason slate Tuesday when they travel to Houston to face the Rockets.
