It was country night as the Canucks would host and take on the Kraken for the final time this season. Unfortunately during the game, the Dallas Stars secured at least one point when they went to overtime with Vegas which eliminated the Canucks from playoff contention for the second straight year. Despite this, Vancouver won 5-2 and swept the season series against Seattle 4-0. The game started strong with 3 early goals but the 2nd period was rough as the Canucks gave up many penalties.
