The Libyans came out firing in the second half and they managed to Nigerian shot-stopper Francis Uzoho into a couple good saves in the opening 10 minutes.' Libya's dominance was eventually rewarded in the 73rd minute when Uzoho's failed attempt to hold onto a cross fell into the path of Ahmad Ben Ali, who fired into the far corner from six-yards out. However, Nigeria restored their lead with 10 minutes as Ighalo brilliantly skipped past two player before firing a left-footed effort into the bottom corner. The Super Eagles hung on to claim all three points which sees them sit top of the Group, a point above Bafana, who they face next month at the FNB Stadium.
