Is Russell Westbrook responsible for The Oklahoma City Thunder's past and present playoff woes? It is a team sport, but Russell is supposed to be the front runner for OKC. I know Paul George is hurt. But, somewhere Russell needs to find a way to push through each round of the playoffs. He did not do it when Kevin Durant was there, even though they got close. But now he has Paul George and they still might get the boot in the first round? All those super quadruple triples do not mean anything if you get bounced out of the first round of the playoffs. I think Russell Westbrook is a great player who deserves to win a Championship! But, I think he needs to tweak his game. He needs to take less shots. I think he needs to focus on putting himself in position to shoot a more efficient, high percentage, correct basketball shot. I think he needs to pass the ball more too. Russell needs to look at film with his coach and figure out a new strategy on how he plays, so he can be more efficient. His coach needs to get into Russell's head and sale him on a new way to play. Until Russell Westbrook can tweak his game, I think he will not be able to go to war with The Houston Rockets or The Golden State Warriors.
