Silva struck three minutes from time on Tuesday to snatch a 2-1 win and secure City's first points of their Champions League campaign. Prior to that it had been a frustrating evening for City at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena, with Sane denied what appeared a blatant penalty after being felled by goalkeeper Oliver Baumann in the second half. David Silva pounced on a mistake to fire Manchester City ahead late against HoffenheimGerman winger Sane said: 'It was a really tough game, but we knew it would be. I know their team a little bit and have some friends in the team.'At the end we did really good and David's goal was perfect timing.
