Manchester United 4 Newcastle United 1 The Review. Newcastle United travelled to Old Trafford to face Manchester United in the Premier League. Old Trafford was bouncing with the second debut of a certain Cristiano Ronaldo and the magpies were up against it before a ball was even kicked. Newcastle gave a very good account of themselves in the first half, working very hard to frustrate Manchester United and restricting them to very little chances as well as creating chances of our own but with no success. Once again individual mistakes were our downfall, this time goalkeeper Freddie Woodman at fault for two of the goals. Steve Bruce once again showing how clueless he is with pathetic substitutions and his lack of ability to change anything during the game.
