The future of Iran women's chess - Mobina Alinasab

Iran had a difficult event at the World Junior Championships 2019. Aryan Gholami and Amin Tabatabaei withdrew in between the tournament. However, there was one girl who stood strong amidst all of this chaos. Mobina Alinasab won the silver medal at the World Junior Girls 2019. Mobina, who is 19 years old, was the 25th seed at the event. But she believed in her abilities and finished second. She was ably supported by her coach Shadi Paridar. This was not Mobina's first great performance. She reached round three of the World Cup 2018 beating strong players Elisabeth Paehtz and Monica Socko. Although Mobina has completed her schooling, she has taken a break from education for a year to fully focus on her chess. Know more about this upcoming talent from Iranian chess.
