Game 1 of 2 of a double header and game 1 of 2 of the series, basically the entire two game series will be played from 1-7 PM est in a straight double header! This will be the Tigers (7-14) playing host to the Pirates (9-13) in Detroit! Well the series won't be a long one, and by tomorrow, we won't even be in Detroit as we will be on the way to Houston to play the Astros! But, today anyway, we will play the Pirates in a double header. The Tigers will be rested as they haven't played in two days now, so let's hope the day off recharged the bats, the defense, and gives us full access to what has been one of baseballs best bullpens so far this season. The Pirates come in playing good baseball this season, and sit just 4 games under .500 and would like to get to just two by the end of the day. The Tigers hope to get to 9 wins as well!
