The Green Eagles needed just eight minutes to break the deadlock through veteran skipper Mohsen Mitwally to go 4-1 ahead on aggregate. But the visitors threw everything in attack, and grabbed a deserved equalizer when Junior Figongang scored after 23 minutes. The Libyans missed a golden opportunity to take the lead on the night three minutes after the half hour mark. From the spot Muataz Husain found Raja goalkeeper Anas Zniti too tall to beat, as both sides went to the break in a stalemate. The second half was not a different story as both sides tried to score the winner without having enough chances, as the game ended with Raja returning to the group stage for the first time since 2011. After eight years absence from the CAF Champions League group stages, Morocco giants Raja Casablanca are back. The Green Eagles drew 1-1 with Libya’s Al Nasr at the Mohamed V Complex in Casablanca on Saturday night to qualify 4-2 on aggregate.
