On this episode of "The Locker Room” EJ and MH touch on the N-word in sports. The conversation began on recapping the incident between Kyrie Irving and Dennis Schroder in the recent Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles game. The incident resulted in both Kyrie and Schroder being ejected. Post-game Kyrie tweeted his thoughts on the N-word leading to the assumption that the word had been used in the incident. MH discussed on how the word is common in competitive athletic situations and how Kyrie may have had some other things on his mind outside of hearing the N-word. EJ asked if there should be difference in the word ending with “a” vs “er”. The conversation continued to more words that are often used in different context.
