Hi peeps!! Welcome to my West Bromwich Albion match review series for the 2020/21 season. Carabao Cup 3rd Round - Brentford (Championship) at The Hawthorns. We faced our 'old friends' from the EFL Championship, Brentford in the third round of the Carabao Cup!!! They definitely had a point to prove after we beat them to the Premier League by just a single point!! But in the end, it literally came down to how many penalties each team could score in a single game as after 2-2 in normal time, we came up on the wrong end of a penalty shootout!!! Oh well, there's always Chelsea to beat *gulp*!!
