Rovers in fact scored two within the first 10 minutes with Ben Brereton amd Adam Armstrong finding the back of the net. Reading made a game of it when John Swift scored from a free kick. into the 2nd half Rovers again extended their lead with a deflected effort from Joe Rothwell. Reading to their credit never gave up and scored two goals to level the match Baldock and Meite on the scoresheet before a late Sam Gallagher effort won it for Rovers.
