Tennessee met us with a crazy storm, humidity and a lot of forests. The climate here appears to be somewhat similar to Ukrainian summer. It seemed like the state holds its beauty far away from the cities, as Little Rock and Memphis made an impression of depressing cities. Every intersection has its own drama with a person behind it, holding a cardboard sign. Old, boxy, cracked buildings add to this scenery, making you want to escape the town. On another hand - The Graceland, Elvis Presley’s house. It’s amazing how much of an impact and difference one man can do. The house is not really big but holds a lot of family history. I can tell that he definitely liked himself as every corner in the house has a huge mirror from floor to the ceiling. I really liked his racket ball room and meditation garden, can’t wait to get my own. The man had everything, but still, as he said: “I am the happiest, when I’m home with my family”.
