Leeds United midfielder understands the threat posed by two clubs

Leeds United midfielder understands the threat posed by two clubs. Leeds United are above Norwich City and West Bromwich Albion in the Championship table at the moment. Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich’s comments to The Yorkshire Post suggest that he considers West Bromwich Albion and Norwich City as their main challengers for the Championship title. Marcelo Bielsa’s side are at the top of the Championship table at the moment with 51 points from 24 matches. The West Yorkshire outfit are three points clear of second-placed Norwich City and six points clear of third-placed West Brom. Klich, who has established himself as an important player in the Leeds team this season, has spoken of the threat posed to Leeds by West Brom and Norwich. The 28-year-old Poland international midfielder told The Yorkshire Post regarding the promotion race: “We need to make the gap even bigger. “We know West Brom are going to win games and you saw with Norwich that they scored in the 93rd and 98th minute again (to draw with Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day). They are dropping points but they are not losing games.” Promotion challenge Leeds are playing well at the moment and are scoring late goals to win important matches. The West Yorkshire outfit have found a degree of consistency that they have lacked in recent seasons, and one should not be surprised if they maintain it for the rest of the season. Bielsa’s team, though, will face tough competition from West Brom and Norwich, as well as from Sheffield United, Middlesbrough, Derby County, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest.
