This year, for the first time since 2008, the Tour de Suisse has done away with the traditional opening-day time trial, instead kicking off the race with four laps of a 44.4km circuit around Küsnacht. With two climbs on each lap, expect a punchy and aggressive start to the final warm-up race before the Tour de France.
