World Number Two McIlroy is in the field again. He is aiming to become the first four-time winner of the prestigious event, having begun his 2024 campaign with a runner-up finish at the inaugural Dubai Invitational. Tommy Fleetwood will also be teeing it up again this week. His victory at the Dubai Invitational last week was built upon a consistent campaign in 2023, which saw him register five top-tens, including a runner-up finish at the season-ending DP World Tour Championship. Tyrell Hatton will also be in Dubai this week for his season debut. He finished 2023 with three top-12’s in his last five events to round of the year.
