Anaheim Ducks were not very discipline at home so in San Jose they had to do something big before they were completely out of the series. San Jose struck first but, Anaheim pulled through in clutch at the end of the first to tie the game. San Jose would start the second period with a bang and would not look back getting 4 straight goals. During the third period Anaheim got sloppy and San Jose scored three more to top the game 8-1.
