#8 Kentucky @ Texas A&M - Live Reactions!

Join us & watch / react to today’s matchup between #8 Kentucky & Texas A&M! UK owns the All-Time record against the Aggies with a 10-4 advantage! UK beat Texas A&M in their only match-up last season winning 85-74 inside Rupp Arena. Tyler Herro led the Cats with 21 Points that night. UK is 22-5 on the season & 12-2 in the SEC (1st PLACE in the SEC) at the moment while Texas A&M is 14-12 overall & 8-6 in SEC play. UK is currently on a 6 game winning steak & has also won 14 of its last 16 games! Heading into tonight’s match-up against the Texas A&M UK had a very gritty conference win inside Rupp Arena Saturday night as they won 65-59, in a game where the Cats had a couple solid runs (a couple early on & one a little after the second half started where they went on a 8-0 run to take a 52-44 lead, BUT had a very sloppy & hectic finish to the game. We were up 61-53 with under a minute to go WITH THE BALL & all of a sudden could not in-bound the ball & just had no control, but were very fortunate to walk away with a W, thanks to 4-4 FT’s from Maxey & Quickley. As far as who played well, it was very obvious who our KEY PLAYER was against the Gators & honestly for the majority of this season so far, & that player is IMMANUEL QUICKLEY! Quickley put up a career high in points scoring 26 points & knocking down 4 three pointers all in the second half! We will need him to keep up his solid play as we move closer & closer to March! Also turning in pretty solid performances was Tyrese Maxey & E.J. Montgomery (although E.J. is capable of SO MUCH MORE!). Nick Richards & Ashton Hagans (once again) were just O.K., & they are so much more than just O.K. players. While we did get a lay-up from Nate Sestina & a jumper from Keion Brooks Jr. in the first half Saturday, we barely got ANYTHING from the three of Sestina, Brooks Jr. & Juzang. Tonight in College Station WE WILL NEED more contributions from those three, as well as more complete play from our leading players in Hagans & Richards. If we can try & hit 7-8 threes tonight & DOMINATE the glass we should be in a position to STEAL yet another tough road win! We only have 2 more road games including tonight & also have a two game lead in first place of the SEC regular season race with only 4 games remaining! Let’s continue this HOT STREAK we are on (win-wise) & EARN another W! Although we are on a good tear right now, we have yet to really play a COMPLETE game yet. We have so much more left in us, as we really have not put it all together in the slightest yet, lets just get everyone contributing & PLAY WITH MAJOR ENERGY! Fight each play & don’t get out-hustled! COME ON BIG BLUE!!! FIGHT TONIGHT!!! KEEP IT ROLLING SETTING UP A TWO GAME HOME STAND FOLLOWING TONIGHT! GO BIG BLUE!!! #BBN STREAM STARTING @ 6:55 PM ET Game Time: 7:00 PM ET Channel: ESPN
