Pavel Bure also scores for Vancouver, while Christian Ruuttu and Geoff Courtnall score short-handed goals seventeen seconds apart in the second period. Roman Oksiuta, Bret Hedican and Trevor Linden each add two assists for Vancouver, and Kirk McLean gets the win in net. Brendan Shanahan tallies a goal and an assist for the Blues, while Denis Chasse and Ian Laperriere both add two assists. Curtis Joseph starts in goal for St. Louis, and is replaced by Jon Casey in the third period after the fourth Vancouver goal.
