Kevin Lankinen stole the show stopping 30 of 31 shots for a sparkling save percentage of .968, earning his first career NHL victory. Ian Mitchell picked up the first point of his young NHL career with an assist on Calvin De Haan's 2nd period goal. The power play continued its hot pace as Patrick Kane and Andrew Shaw both scored. The Blackhawks now have the 2nd best power play conversion rate in the league behind only the Toronto Maple Leafs with a rate of 41.2% The penalty kill had its best game of the young campaign going 5-5. Alex Debrincat and Dylan Strome respectively had two assists on the evening.
