This player is none other than Rovman Powell of West Indies, who has been bought by Delhi Capitals for Rs 2.8 crores. Powell hails from a very small village in the West Indies, where his family makes a living by farming. And so Powell wanted from his childhood, that he could lift his family out of poverty, through cricket and his education. And he says that in this 'cricket has supported him well so far,' he also said that if I was not a cricketer, I would have been a soldier. Because at that time I wanted to somehow get my family out of poverty.
