Birmingham City faced their ex manager Gary Rowett's team on Saturday 20th October in what was a very tense clash. The play was scrappy, slow and not what we had played like before the international break in the first half of the game, but at the turn of the second half, Blues came into their own and Stoke opened up, allowing Blues to counter and catch Stoke on the break. Che Adams finally put Blues ahead in the 81st minute with great link up play between him and in-form Lukas Jutkiewicz. The celebrations were fantastic, and following Stoke's attempts at getting a point, along with Blues defending every attack they had, Rowett was sent off.
