Max Kellerman seems to think Kawhi Leonard is the best player in the NBA. There might be some truth to that, depending on how you look at it. I think Kevin Durant is the best overall player in the NBA. Kevin Durant is injured, and is not playing at the moment. So does that mean Kevin Durant is not the best player in the NBA? Kawhi Leonard is balling out of control. You could say Kawhi is the best player until Kevin Durant comes back in the next round. But, you could also say Giannis Antetokounmpo is the best player too. I think Max Kellerman and Stephen A. Smith use the phrase "best player in the NBA", too loosely. It is becoming watered down, because every other game they call a different player, "the best player in the NBA." There can only be one best player in the NBA. Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman should just call guys top 5 players, and in no particular order. That would be better than switching, and calling whoever wins that day as being the best in the NBA. I like Kawhi Leonard, and I think he is a baller. I also like Kevin Durant, and think he is a baller too. Giannis Antetokounmpo is killing it for the Bucks. I would say that they are all top 5 players. At this point, we should just respect their game, and do not get to wrapped up in tagging who is the best player after each game.
