Sergio Leonel Agüero del Castillo (born 2 June 1988), sometimes known as Kun Agüero, is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a striker for Premier League club Manchester City and the Argentina national team. He wears "Kun" on his shirt, a childhood nickname based on the title character from the cartoon Kum-Kum. He is widely considered as one of the best strikers of his generation and one of the best players in Premier League history. Agüero moved to Premier League club Manchester City in July 2011 for a reported fee (club record fee at the time) in the region of £35 million. On the last day of his debut season in Manchester, he scored a last minute winner to win the club its first league title in 44 years, the famous and unforgettable (AGUERRRRROOOOOOOO). In the 2014–15 season, he won the Premier League Golden Boot, and became Manchester City's all-time top goalscorer in November 2017. He was also named to the PFA Team of the Year in the 2017–18 and 2018–19 seasons. He is the fourth all-time Premier League goalscorer and the highest non-English scorer in the competition's history, with 184 goals, the most Premier League goals scored by a player for any single club. Agüero also holds the record for most hat-tricks in the Premier League, with twelve.
