Or would the GC contenders apply some pressure to Tadej Pogačar?. While it may not look quite as difficult as its Pyrenean predecessor, it’s the kind of stage where we could see a successful ambush sprung, particularly in the valley sections between the three main climbs - the Col de Port (11.4km at 5.1%), Col de la Core (13.1km at 6.6%) and Col de Portet-d’Aspet (5.4km at 7.1%).
