What can we salvage in this second half of the Premier League season? Well kicking off today with a win against Burnley at Goodison Park was definitely a good way to start our campaign to avoid relegation and move higher up the table. Carlo Ancelotti set us up in a 4-4-2 formation and for much of the game we were matching Burnley like for like as they were set up in a similar way. It took until the 80th minute to open the score sheet with Dominic Calvert-Lewin meeting Sidiebe’s assist heading it in to win the game 1-0.
