The LV=Insurance County Championship returns today as Sussex visit New Road. After finishing fifth in our group we restart the competition top of division three, looking to secure a strong finish to the season. As preparation for a return to red-ball cricket, the majority of the first team played in a second XI game against Warwickshire, with Josh Baker starring, taking seven wickets in the second innings. Charlie Morris took a five-wicket haul in the first innings so the bowlers are nicely prepared for the game.
