AFC U-16 Championship Malaysia 2018 (Malaysia 0 - 2 Japan), 3 year old Izam

27 September 2018, 10:52 a.m. #AFCU16 #NFDP #HarimauMalaya #FAMMalaysia #JFA #KBSMalaysia #AFCGrassroots Japan booked their spot in the quarter-finals after defeating Malaysia in their final Group A at the National Stadium, Kuala Lumpur. “Our players did so well being patient. Malaysia had fast players in the wings and in attack and it was difficult playing against them and I’m proud of my players' performance today. Malaysia didn't pressure our defensive lines much but it was difficult for us. They were quick on the counter and I’m sure they did watch our tapes so it wasn’t easy playing against them. They are probably one of the toughest we’ve faced so far, playing in front of their supporters. Malaysian players are technically skilled and fast so it was difficult game.” - Moriyama Yoshiro, Japan head coach “I think it was a good game. Our boys tried very hard after conceding from a silly mistake but they didn’t give up and tried to score. Japan are technically and tactically strong but we gave them a hard time. My boys are crying, we wanted to win but I don’t think we played badly. I'm happy with their performance but not with the result.” - Lim Teong Kim, Malaysia head coach https://www.instagram.com/izam_no10/ Please like and subscribe to my channel for video updates.
