28 April 2018. A dull, damp Saturday afternoon, but a vital 3rd-last game of the season which could see us almost safe. After a crucial clearance off the line by Ward we score two in the first half and, remarkably, three in the second. Unfortunately our camera operator pressed the wrong button and missed Benteke's penalty, but luckily he didn't. 5–0 against a very decent, fluent team. We reach 38 points, amid huge sighs of relief, amazement and joy - and a rousing chorus for 'one of our own' - Roy (also missed by today's camera operator...). PS: Happy Birthday Borace
