Western Michigan blew yet another opportunity to win the MAC. Despite dominating the game statistically, WMU fell to Ball State 30-27, as the Broncos were outscored 17-0 in the fourth quarter. The biggest headline of the game was the final play, where WMU almost scored on a Stanford-Cal Band type play. ESPN cut out while the penalties were being assessed, which was really bothersome. I still don't know how it wasn't offsetting penalties. Looks like Tim Lester is like WMU's Jim Harbaugh in that he can't win big games, despite the amount of talent Broncos usually have on their roster. Lots of frustration in Kalamazoo.
