Indian Premier League popularly called as IPL is the biggest T20 League in the globe. IPL is a professional T20 franchise league played in India. The tournament is usually hosted in the months of April and May. India’s cricketing board, the BCCI, founded this league. It is known as the brainchild of LalitModi, the founder and former commissioner of the league. The first season of the tournament was held in April 2008.
