The longest stage of the race at 219km, stage 2 stretches inland from Camaiore to Sovicille as Tirreno-Adriatico begins its long march from the Tyrrhenian Sea to the Adriatic. If the sprinters are in good form and the second half of the stage is not made too difficult, they should hang on to contest the finish!
