Vegas Golden Knights vs Colorado Avalanche Game 1 Review

The Colorado Avalanche defeated the Vegas Golden Knights 7-1 in the opening game of this second-round series. Robin Lehner was the starting goaltender for Vegas tonight, while Peter Grubauer was the starting goalie for Colorado. The Avs kicked off the scoring early, and lead 2-0 after the first period. In the second, the Avalanche kept the scoring going, and lead 6-1 after the second period. Colorado was too fast for Robin Lehner and the Vegas Golden Knights tonight. The game got chippy in the third period after Mattias Janmark left the game in the second after getting hit by Graves. Ryan Reaves was ejected, and Colorado was awarded a 9-minute powerplay.
