ICYMI: The Washington Capitals (38-22-10) ended a two game losing streak by defeating the Tampa Bay Lightning (43-20-7) 4-3 in a very entertaining and intense battle between the current two wild card teams. #Ovi scored his 43th goal of the season and collected his 1400th career point, #JohnCarlson led the team with four points (2G,2A) and almost had a hat trick, if it wasn’t for unfortunate offsides call that overturned a late first period goal. #Samsonov (20-9-4) made some great saves to keep the #Bolts off the board when they pushed back but in my opinion he gave up goals that should’ve been stopped.
