The Lobos defeated Fresno State 49-39 to pick up their second win of the season. Freshman quarterback Isaiah Chavez, who earned Mountain West Player of the Week honors, was 14 of 18 passing for 196 yards and a touchdown through the air and rushed for 95 yards and a score on the ground. Bobby Cole led the rushing effort with 138 yards and 3 touchdowns.
