IPL 2019: CSK batsman Kedar Jadhav ruled out of the playoffs edar Jadhav has been ruled out of the remainder of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), the defending champions – Chennai Super Kings – confirmed on Monday. Jadhav left the field, during the second innings of Sunday’s game against Kings XI Punjab in Mohali, with physio Tommy Simsek after he hurt his shoulder. The incident occurred in the 14th over when Jadhav dived to his left to stop an overthrow from Ravindra Jadeja. CSK head coach Stephen Fleming also hinted against Jadhav’s further participation in the tournament, at the post-match press conference. Fleming had said that Jadhav’s focus would now shift to the World Cup as he wouldn’t be playing any more games in the IPL. “Kedar is getting an X-ray and a scan tomorrow. We’re hopeful for him. I don’t think we’ll see him again in this tournament for us. So now his attention will turn to what it looks like for the World Cup. He’s in some discomfort but we just need to be accurate with our assessments tomorrow. Fingers crossed that it’s nothing too serious,” Fleming had said on Sunday.
