Telford United 5-1 FC United. 9 February 2016

The reds had two chances to open the scoring, but after Telford got their first, they were never in trouble. Substitute keeper Sam Sheridan – on for the injured Dave Carnell – had saved FC twice already, but couldn't get his hands on a diverted shot from John Cofie. Soon after Sheridan tipped a shot onto the post, but was adjudged to have held Connor McCarthy's leg when diving to grab the ball. Red card. Luke Ashworth then took over in the sticks and his first touch was to retrieve the ball from the net after Lucas Dawson converted the penalty. 2-0. Telford started quick in the second half as Dave Hibbert slotted home a nice shot for the Bucks' third. Dwayne Samuels added a fourth with a 20-yarder from the right, before the Reds had something to celebrate as George Thomson got FCs consolation of the night to make it 4-1. Sub Sean Clancy completed the rout from the left to leave the Reds facing their heaviest defeat at this level and a long trip home.
