The landlords hosted the tenants in this Southern League match as Beaconsfield SYCOB and Slough Town played out their third consecutive league draw in direct competition. Slough were looking to extend their recent run of five straight league wins and took the lead through Danny Burnell's penalty in the first half after Joe Chandiram, making his debut for the Rebels, had been felled. SYCOB drew level in the second half, again through the penalty spot, as Poulton stroked his penalty down the middle. The home side had the better of the chances in the game but didn't really test Warrington and Ed Smith could have snuck a win for the Rebels only to be denied by a good stop from Nydell late on.
