The Virginia Tech Hokies returned to the win column with a commanding 40-14 victory over the Boston College Eagles. Quarterback Hendon Hooker led the way with 111 yards passing and a touchdown throw, and 164 yards rushing including 3 touchdown runs. Hokies running back Khalil Herbert also had a big game, rushing for 143 yards and catching a 29-yard touchdown pass. The Hokies defense forced 2 interceptions and recovered 3 fumbles in the victory as well.
