The LV=Insurance County Championship returns as Sussex visit New Road. After finishing fifth in our group we restart the competition top of division three, looking to secure a strong finish to the season. After Sussex won the toss and elected to bat Worcestershire started the day with the ball strongly, as Joe Leach, Adam Finch, and Dillon Pennington picked up wickets in the opening session. Joe Leach followed this up in the afternoon session, taking two wickets in two balls before Finch and Barnard struck as well.
