Michael Jordan's baby Bulls somehow got past Grant Hill and the Pistons in a legendary 7 game Eastern Conference Finals. Shaq got injured in the playoffs and with little depth next to Kobe, the Blazers shocked the Lakers in the Western Conference Finals 4-1. So yea Scottie Pippen is on the Blazers and a Jordan vs. Pippen finals would be an absolutely incredible finish to the 1st season but...Pippen tore his achilles in the playoffs. This Blazers team finished with 61 wins but have no all stars, and with Elton Brand being injured (dang injuries) in game 7 against the Pistons after Jerome "Lord Voldemort" Williams stuck his hand through his soul, Jordan is pretty much going to have to carry this team on his own. Honestly I can't even believe they made it this far in Jordan's 1st year. I was expecting maybe a .500 season with a 1st round exit. I'm also 100% certain with a healthy Shaq we would be facing the Lakers right now and we probably would have been swept, so unfortunately we missed out on MJ vs. Kobe as well. This Blazers team is led by Rasheed Wallace, Steve Smith, Damon Stoudemire, and Jermaine O'Neal along with role players such as Dale Davis and Bonzi Wells. They are deep, we are not. But Jordan is having the greatest individual playoff performance in NBA history as a rookie (I mean what do you want me to do run the offense through Jason Caffey) and he looks to continue that with a very, very improbable Finals win in his rookie year.
