Moose on Wrong End of Thriller Remparts tie it with 19 seconds left, win it in Overtime The Mooseheads were on the wrong end of an instant classic Saturday night in Quebec City losing 4-3 in overtime. The Moose never trailed all game as Matt Boudreau opened the scoring as the Herd held a 1-0 lead after 1 period. The teams skated to the room with the Mooseheads up 2-1 after 40 minutes as Nathan MacKinnon picked up another playoff goal, his 8th of the postseason. Quebec quickly tied it at 2 in the 3rd before MacKinnon would take another stab at playing hero scoring off a nice feed from Marty Frk for a 3-2 Moose lead. Cue the drama. With the goalie pulled, MacKinnon's clearing attempt from a scramble would sail over the glass sending him to the box for delay of game. The Remparts would then jam one in with 19 seconds left to send the game to OT. Both teams would exchange chances in OT with the Remparts missing on a 2 on 0 and a breakaway, before jamming in a debatable crease-crashing goal for the win sending 12,000 plus into a frenzy at le Colisee.
