Two more college football coaching controversies have popped up in 2021. Coaches at the University of Washington and University of Texas find themselves in the headlines for incidents involving the treatment of players. During the game between the Washington Huskies and Oregon Ducks on Saturday, November 6, television cameras caught Jimmy Lake, the Head Coach of the Washington Huskies, hitting one of his players in the head with what appears to be a play sheet on the sideline, and then giving him a slight shove. Lake was chastising the player for getting into an altercation with an Oregon player. The University of Washington has suspended Mr. Lake for one game for this incident. Bo Davis, a Defensive Line coach for the Texas Longhorns, was secretly videoed by a player as he went on a profanity laced tirade. The coach was apparently scolding his players for laughing and goofing off after a blowout loss to Iowa State on Saturday, November 6, 2021. As of this video, there have been no reports of Mr. Davis being reprimanded for these actions. In this video, I will show and let you listen to the respective incidents and give my opinion on each one, as well as ask for the opinions of my viewers. #washingtonhuskies #texaslonghorns #collegefootball #bodavis #jimmylake —————-Content in this video—————- 00:00 - Intro. 00:40 - Washington Huskies Coach, Jimmy Lake 03:43 - Texas Longhorns D-Line Coach, Bo Davis Twitter: https://twitter.com/couz206/status/1458267246376149001?s=21 This channel is dedicated to covering college football and basketball, with a big focus on the West Virginia Mountaineers.
