Both teams again failed to score in extra time - the Peruvians coming agonisingly close to ending Australia's dreams. Graham Arnold replaced skipper Mat Ryan with penalty expert Andrew Redmayne for the shootout - and the Sydney FC shotstopper wrote himself into Australian football folklore.
