The UNLV Runnin' Rebels defeated the New Mexico Lobos 53-46 in a sloppy game between these two rivals. Bryce Hamilton led all scorers with 14 points, and Mbacke Diong added 6 points and 10 rebounds. New Mexico received 12 points from Singleton, 10 from Manuel, and 9 points from Maluach. The Rebels improve to 4-6 on the season and 2-2 in Mountain West conference play. The Lobos fall to 4-8 on the season and 0-8 in conference play.
