Utah Jazz vs Detroit Pistons Postgame Analysis

The Utah Jazz holds off a Detroit Pistons team who would not stop fighting, even after the Jazz took a 23 point lead to the second half. While the Jazz struggled on the offensive end when these two teams matched up in Detroit, tonight the put up a dominant 69 points in the first half before slowing down the second. Donovan Mitchell found his stroke after a poor game against Denver on Sunday, going off for 35 points on 4/7 from three. Rudy struggled, not getting double-digit rebounds for the second game this season. This was one of Utah’s worst rebounding games of the year, losing the battle and giving up 11 offensive boards. This was a great game for the Jazz after the loss against the Nuggets on Sunday. While most of the game was garbage time, props to the Pistons for never giving up.
