WESTERN DEFENDS VICTORY CANNON In Wednesday's Battle for the Victory Cannon on the four-letter network, Western Michigan's 38-point run (you read that right!) was almost too much of a hole for Central Michigan to climb out of. The defending West champs CMU made it an 8-point game in the end, but WMU's offense made enough huge plays thanks to Jaylen Hall and D'Wayne Eskridge at wide receiver.
