Luis Alberto Suárez Díaz (American Spanish: [ˈlwis ˈswaɾes]; born 24 January 1987), commonly known as Luis Suárez, is a Uruguayan professional footballer who plays as a striker for Spanish club FC Barcelona and the Uruguay national team.
