Hundreds of euphoric fans gathered around the obelisk monument in Buenos Aires on Sunday after a nail-biting victory in the World Cup final over France. Fans climbed on traffic lights and sprayed their drinks into the air as some said they suffered the way to the third world trophy. "It’s crazy, a party, this is good for all of us," one fan said. The win is the first for Argentina in nearly 40 years and was Lionel Messi's likely last chance to win the World Cup.
