"Elite" Profile 2022: Paul George

Recorded May 2, 2022. The picture was taken September 1, 2022, so the career stats are consistent with his career until this date. This is one of my "Elite" Profiles that I made in 2022 where I describe what separates these particular athletes from other cream-of-the-crop athletes in their sports. Because Paul George turned 32 on May 2, his is the 77th "Elite" profile on my 2022 playlist, and his is my ninth "Elite" individual Basketball profile of the 2022 calendar year. In this episode, I break down the hype and the numbers as I decipher what makes Paul George undoubtably one of the greatest two-way basketball players to ever play in the NBA as he reaches into his 30s. I used the College and Pro Basketball-Reference database to research his stats and accomplishments as an elite professional basketball player. I additionally used Wikipedia to cite his past team accomplishments with the Fresno State basketball program, as well as with the Indiana Pacers, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Los Angeles Clippers organizations, alongside his Team USA appearances. I have only recorded the accomplishments he has achieved to this date, and I have logged this recent campaign because the 2021/22 NBA season is now complete as of September 1, 2022. My intent with the profiles is to provide my justification for referring to these particular athletes as not only great, but athletes that are performing at an "elite" level within their own sport. I recorded this episode and took this picture with my iPhone. Thanks for being a part of the journey.
